Come and stay in our shepherd's hut called "The Lookout". This purpose-built timber cabin offers the best of both worlds with its modern conveniences whilst also enjoying a very private and rural experience.

The Hut
The Lookout is available on a self-catering basis and has a modern fitted kitchenette, a proper double bed, shower and a new separate cabin with a (flushing!) loo. Guests can walk out from the Lookout through our fields and down to the river Torridge or they can explore the Tarka Trail that passes our farm entrance. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is only 10 minutes drive up the road and we are surrounded by pubs full of good local character that are great for eating out.
Facilities
As well as a 4'6" double bed there is also a sofa bed that can be used for a child. The kitchenette has a microwave with grill, induction hob and fridge whilst the shower room has a standard electric shower. An additional cabin houses a proper flushing loo! The Lookout is connected to mains water and electricity and has a flat-screen TV (Freeview), secure WiFi, multiple USB sockets, G3 mobile coverage and a gas BBQ (gas supplied). In front of the hut is a fire pit (logs provided) where you can sit and gaze at the stars. Ample parking is available nearby.
Smoking
Strictly no smoking anywhere within the Shepherd's Hut.
Pets
We do not allow guests to bring pets as we have many other animals around the house and farm.
